Can I type in parameter values on Insight Reports?
For most parameters, you can type your desired value directly into the field to refine the drop‑down menu results. After refining the parameter results, you can click on your desired parameter value. This is especially helpful when the list is long or you already know the exact value you need.
For best practices, always ensure that you apply as many parameters as possible in order to refine your data to prevent timeouts and excessive data extraction.
Is there a difference between how parameters work in Paginated vs. Analytic Reports?
A small one.
Paginated Reports: Type directly into the parameter field.
Analytic Reports: Type in the search box in the drop‑down menu to quickly filter and select your value.
How do I search for a specific report?
Use the search function in the upper-right corner of the reporting menu bar to find reporting content. You can include the wildcard characters (*) before and after your keyword (s) to broaden your search results.
Where did my Statewide report go?
Double-check the infoAdvantage to Insight StateWide Reports Crosswalk. Reach out to core.help@state.co.us if a report appears to be missing.
Why are my Insight reports not in alphabetical order?
Insight reports do not automatically display in alphabetical order. To sort reports alphabetically, click the carets (▲▼) next to the Report Name column header.
Carets appear next to all sortable column headers, and clicking a caret allows you to sort the report list by that column instead. Changing the column or sort will affect the order in which reports appear. Sorting preferences may reset when you refresh the page, navigate away, or start a new session.
