Goal4 It! for Frontline Staff

As we move toward a standardized, statewide approach to workforce services, we are excited to launch the Goal4It! Kickoff Training hosted by Mathematica.

Starting December 15th, this two-part series is essential for all frontline staff. We will cover the new coaching methodology for customers and introduce the specific forms and desk aids approved by Quality Assurance to ensure compliance.

The training is split into two sessions, Part I and Part II, and both are needed to complete the full methodology. If anyone isn’t able to attend both sessions, we’ll also be offering more opportunities throughout 2026, to include reinforcement training.

Part I: Learn the new workflow and how to use the Goal4It! visual guidance with customers.

Part II: Master Motivational Interviewing techniques to make those conversations effective and outcome-driven.

Goal4 It! for Workforce Leaders & Supervisors

Together, these two virtual sessions provide a high-level overview of the Goal4IT! methodology and how it can be applied in coaching conversations with staff. It also introduces motivational interviewing, a cornerstone of effective coaching and leadership development. These sessions are best suited for supervisors, managers, and directors—especially helpful for newer leaders.

Goal4 It! Train the Trainer

The Goal4 It! Train the Trainer workshop focuses on equipping participants to develop others in the use of the Goal4 It! model. Successful completion of the 8-hour program results in an endorsement that demonstrates competency in facilitating the Goal4 It! method and exhibiting the mindsets and behaviors of a coaching approach.
