I am so happy to be returning to STA for my second year in 3B!

I worked at Connecticut Mutual Insurance Company for many years until they merged with MassMutual and sent us home with generous severance packages.

My father and sister were teachers, and once home from work, I felt the call to become a teacher . I enrolled at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford and began my studies to become a certified teacher.

I have taught for 17 years in public school in Houston, TX and Hartford, CT. It has always been a dream of mine to teach in a Catholic school, and interestingly, I interviewed at St. Thomas eleven years ago.

I completed my Masters at the University of St. Joseph when I returned to Connecticut from Houston.  I have a Master's Degree in Reading and Language Arts.

I have one daughter who is an environmental engineer and lives in Boston, MA.
