Fellowship Objective

I have a strong passion and belief in technology and that is why I'm here. Technology is not only a sector of my career interest, I fell into the fantasy world of technology in my early childhood. it is where I want to exhibit my creativity. When I think about the different realms of science and technology, it is hard to think of a domain that is going to change the world as much as advanced technologies will, in the decades ahead. My enthusiastic mind where attracted to electronics and designing. Then it is expanded to designing innovative electronic consumer products and integration of my passion for entrepreneurship.

With the strong interest to learn computer science, I was pursued Computer Application in Calicut University. This was a completely new world of opportunity for me. I learned how computer systems are works, Integrating computer programs and electronics were to bring me the new era of opportunities. Within this period, I worked on many opensource electronics and IoT projects and few of my contributions are recognized on the internet. I hosted workshops within the college to share my knowledge with my friends and mates bring me a different experience in sharing and learning knowledge with others. During my academic period, I got opportunities to be part of many communities and workshops. I was able to attend FABXL program. I am also got to volunteer FAN3 (Fab Asian Network), which was a good experience for my career. I am also the Co-organizer of hackster Kerala, one of the biggest hardware community in Kerala.

After I graduated, I am one of the team members who setup foxlab Makerspace. I continued as a mentor in foxlab makerspace. I did hands-on workshops across Kerala on different topics such as electronics, IoT, 3D modeling and PCB designing. I came to know about new technological advances in digital fabrications and rapid prototyping. I heard about fablab's fab academy course from the former students and KSUM fellows. I joined 2018 academic cycle.

The weekly assessment in fab academy really helped me to extend my skill in digital fabrication and rapid prototyping. I also got chance to learn and share the knowledge between other creative and talented person all around the world through the fab foundation network. Working through different fabrication machines and resources helped me to build creative projects. My feeling of progress is one of my motivation, each time I spend in fablab I can learn new things.

I want to learn new skills by sharing my knowledge with others. knowledge is of no value unless you shared with others who needed from us and be an inspiration for them. Having this in mind, I would like to join fablab as a fellow. Having experience in mentoring, it is more satisfying for me to help peoples to bring their creative and innovative ideas into reality. I can also get the opportunity to build and exhibit my fablab projects in various events and platform.
