Meet Miss Pfohl

Hi, I am Tara Pfohl and I teach 1st grade at Starpoint. This will be my 24th year teaching at Fricano. I spent my first year teaching kindergarten and this will be my 23rd year teaching 1st grade!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University at Buffalo and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Niagara University.

I grew up and lived in Pendleton for many years of my life and I graduated from Starpoint myself. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading and often have trouble putting a book down while I am reading it. Listening to music is also one of my favorite hobbies. Fundraising for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk through the American Cancer Society is also a cause that is very important to me.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year full of lots of learning and fun!
