About me

My name is Miss Coakley and I am so excited to teach this year! This is my second year teaching at Starpoint and I am excited for everything teaching 7th grade math has in store! I got my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and English in 2021 at Union College and my Master's Degree in Education in 2022 at Niagara University. Inside the classroom, I am enthusiastic about teaching content in a thought provoking way and providing a variety of opportunities to learn. Outside of the classroom I am an athlete (pole vault, tennis), an avid reader, and love to be outdoors! A fun fact about me is that I love DIY projects. My current project is a school bus conversion!
