The goal for this unit is for students to understand the role percentages play in the real world. We begin by focusing on how to find part of a whole and transition into percent increases and decreases. These increases include taxes and tip while decreases include sales and discounts!
We also briefly discuss the importance of how interest can impact a total amount, for better or for worse.
Videos and guidance through some extra problems. Sometimes a new way of explanation can help us understand better.
