EDUCATION fOUNDATION
The Stark County Education Foundation is formed under the authority of the Board of Education of Stark County CUSD 100. The Foundation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, and to engage in any lawful act or activity for which corporations may be organized under the General Not for Profit Corporation Act of Illinois. The Foundation is a corporation designated to develop and provide a permanent source of supplemental funding for improving the quality of education. The Foundation is formed as a mechanism through which community resources can be allocated for beneficial non-mandatory school programs. Foundation funds will be used to promote and enhance the education within District 100 in partnership with business and the greater community. The Foundation is to raise and disburse funds only for the use and benefit of the students and staff of the Stark County CUSD 100 (School District).

March 6-28: Scholarship Applications available online.
March 28: Completed applications submitted online.
(Late applications will not be considered.)April 15-16: Review of applications and interview appointments
May 7, 9:00 am: High School Awards Day: Presentation of Awards

Scholarship Opportunities for Continuing Education
In keeping with its primary goal, each year the Stark County Education Foundation provides 12th graders with access to several college/post-secondary scholarships. Applications for these scholarships are now available through a link on our District Website, our District Facebook page and the Stark County Education Foundation page. You can also find the application through this link https://forms.gle/h81nbKrhMKRZpTYZ8 . The deadline for submission is March 28, 2024.
The Foundation plans to review applications and conduct interviews on April 15-16. In May, scholarship winners will be announced at the Annual Senior Awards Day on May 7, 2024.
Many scholarships will be available for 12th graders this year and the Education Foundation urges all interested seniors to check with the Guidance Office for details and application packet information. Remember, the hard deadline for application submission is March 28th, and the student interviews are currently planned for April 15th and April 16th.
