Refresh and Renew

Refresh & Renew is a welcoming, engaging program designed especially for students in grades 3–6 who have not yet received formal religious education and are preparing for their First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. It's a one year program.  Rooted in the love and mercy of God, this program gently introduces children to the foundational truths of the Catholic faith in a supportive, age-appropriate environment. Whether they're just beginning their faith journey or returning after time away, Refresh & Renew offers a fresh start and a path toward a renewed relationship with Christ.

This program requires Director approval, so please reach out to Danielle Sibilia if you have questions. 

• Classes meet weekly on Wednesday's from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in Maple Street Conference room located on the 2nd floor of 40 Maple Street.

• Additional dates where attendance is required for this class outside of Wednesday's are listed below and colored coded on the schedule as well.

  • • 10/25/2025 Saturday Retreat – in the Church, 9:00am – 10:30am with a parent

    • 12/6/2025 Saturday First Reconciliation – in the Church, 8:30am – 10:30am

    • *Thursday, March 12, 2026 • 7:00pm Saint Matthew, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, CT - Parent Meeting with the Bishop (Mandatory)

    • ** CANCELLED 3/21/2026 Saturday Retreat – in the Church, 9:00am – 10:30am with a parent

    • Week of 4/20/26 your child will be assigned to two mandatory rehearsals for which they must attend both in order to make their Sacrament on the 4/25/26. The last rehearsal one a parent must attend as well.  When your given your Communion time you will be given these dates as well.

    • 4/25/2026 Saturday First Holy Communion – Times TBD and will be assigned to you
