Welcome!
My name is Arlie Bouchard and I am the Family School Liaison Worker here at Mother D'Youville! I have been blessed to be part of this school since it opened in 2017. I have my degree in Psychology from the University of Regina (Proud Rider Fan!) however, all of my work history has been in the field of Social Work.
I have a passion for Mental Health and Wellbeing. I love to teach kids the biological processes that affect their mental wellbeing along with the strategies they can use to grow and regulate in healthy ways. Being a teenager is really hard work- navigating all the changes can be confusing. Being the parent of a teenager is equal parts demanding and amazing! I work hard to make sure that needs are met, students feel safe and welcome at Mother D'Youville, and families feel like this is a place of support.
My parents would say that I have been "advocating" my whole life- and they had lots of patience while I developed this skill. My husband and I are very proud parents of two girls who are VERY active in sport and our school district. Chances are, if you need to find me, I will be at school coaching/cheering or in a community rink- I love seeing students in the community engaged in the activities they love.
