I am starting my 25th year of teaching. During those 25 years I have taught 22 years of Kindergarten and 2 years of Second Grade and 1 year of First Grade. I have also been appointed as the Early Childhood Program Center Director here at St. Anthony of Padua.

I am a graduate of Temple University with a Bachelors degree in Early
Childhood/Elementary Education and Community College of Philadelphia with a Associates degree in General Studies. I have also worked as an after school
counselor/tutor and a summer camp assistant supervisor at the Fels South
Philadelphia Community Center.
I was a Girl Scout Leader for 6 years and continue to volunteer as a Committee Member for the Ecowoods Camporee. I also Volunteer for my local Memorial Day Parade as a Bike Contest Judge.
I am married, and have a 20 year old daughter, 15 year old son and a 5 year old Black Lab named Oscar.
Our classroom goal for this year is to help development the students love of Reading through our new Reading Series Wonders and learning new vocabulary and Sight Words. We will use materials that expand children's knowledge and language development. Also, using Math manipulatives to develop many different skills, like numbers, shapes, patterns, and alike/different.
