Dear Students and Families,
My name is Christopher Mano and I am proud to announce that I will be joining you this school year at St. Anthony of Padua Regional Catholic School. As your teacher, it is an honor to have the opportunity to enrich your educational experience. My educational background entails a bachelor’s degree in political science/public administration with a minor in history from La Salle University, and a master’s degree in education from Villanova University. I am committed to promoting academic excellence. It is my highest priority to learn as much as possible with and from each individual student. My teaching philosophy is student-centered, focusing on the interests and aspirations of the students. I foster a strengths-based approach with a focus on equity. My instructional methods are primarily based on inquiry-based instruction, which I do by posing questions to students to answer.
There is no greater responsibility of teachers than to prepare the next generation of our future leaders for challenges of life and to build essential life skills. I hope to guide students every step of the way, provide opportunities for creativity in the classroom, and aid students in achieving their goals. As an alumnus of St. Anthony of Padua, I view teaching as more than imparting knowledge but encompassing a broader human experience. It is my priority that students succeed and become well-rounded individuals; as well as providing the opportunity to maximize their potential.
During this unprecedented time of the COVID-19 pandemic, please know that I can be consulted at any time. I am here to support you and be a resource, do not hesitate to reach out for clarification. My email is cmano@stanthonyofpaduarcs.org.
I am eager to work with you all this school year.
Best,
Mr. Mano
