About me
Hi! I'm Shelby Kapa, the Pre-K 4 teacher here at St. Anthony’s. I’ve been teaching preschool for 10 years, and I’ve had the joy of spending the last three years as part of the St. Anthony’s community. I hold a certificate in Child Advocacy and a master’s degree in Administration of Human Services, both from Wilmington University. I also hold an Early Childhood Teacher certification through the state of Delaware.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building strong emotional connections with my students and helping to lay the groundwork for their lifelong love of learning. I truly enjoy watching each child’s unique personality shine as they grow and get ready for kindergarten.
Fun Facts:
-I attended St. Peter the Apostle School for preschool & kindergarten. To this day, I still remember my teachers and the huge impact that they had on my early learning years at school. My love for teaching early childhood, I credit to them.
-I sung in the school choir/during mass until 5th grade.
"In this classroom, we pray, we love, we learn."
