Dear Parents of Incoming 1st Graders,
Here is a list of the supplies you will need to purchase for your child on your own before the first day of school. Please send all items in a bag with your child’s name. It is helpful if you also label all school supplies with your child’s name. Please do not send any items to school that are not on this list. Items with * will need to be replenished as needed.
1 package of 20 (or more) sharpened pencils with erasers*
2 pink wedge erasers*
2 boxes 24 Crayola crayons*
1 pair of blunt tip primary scissors
1 package of gluesticks* (Package of 10-12 recommended)
1 set of headphones (placed in a ziplock bag labeled with your child’s name)
2 boxes of tissues*
1 roll of paper towels*
2 containers Lysol/Clorox Disinfecting Wipes*
1 package of hand wipes or baby wipes*
(I asked for extra pencils, gluesticks, and crayons so I can hold onto them and distribute to your child as needed. )
Index cards and some type of box to keep them in are also items I’m going to ask you to keep at home for sight words.
I will also be providing the children with some stationary supplies you will need to purchase from the school. I will be providing your child with several special notebooks, paper tablets, folders, and a jumbo pencil case. I will let you know this cost in August.
