The structural plates of the module are constructed using 3/16" lasercut Duron sheets.

The module has two arms. These arms are translated using a series of powered Paracord pulleys which are driven using a DC motor with a worm gearbox and an additional spur gear speed multiplication.

The napkin dispensing arm is structurally identical to the Starburst dispensing arm, but the dispenser mechanism is replaced with a 3D printed structural bracket for stiffness, and the arm’s ramp has a small printed tissue box attached to it.

The Starburst dispenser consists of a 3D printed gravity-fed magazine and a solenoid linear actuator. The solenoid pushes the Starburst out of the magazine and onto the arm’s ramp one at a time, and the next Starburst falls into place immediately after.
