PALS and NRP training are held over three days. You have some homework to do prior to the in-person training sessions. Please review the instructions linked below for information and expectations.
PALS online self-assessment via AHA - PALS certification requires the completion of an online self-assessment prior to your in-person training. You should have received an email from the AHA with a code to the PALS e-book. If you haven't received it, check your junk/spam folder as it may have gone there. Please let Jeffrey Chan (jefchan@stanfordchildrens.org) know if you have any problems or questions. Follow the instructions in the PALS Training Instructions to activate your code and access the e-book.
NRP online exam via NRP Learning Platform - NRP certification requires the completion of an online module before your in-person training. The online module may take a couple of hours so plan accordingly. You'll receive an email notification from the NRP Learning Platform when the NRP exam has been assigned to you. You have 24 hours to access/redeem the course link. This does not mean you need to start the course within 24 hours; just access the link. Follow the instructions in the NRP Training Instructions on how to submit a copy of your Certificate of Completion. Katherine Jackman (katjack@stanford.edu) has purchased the NRP e-book via Amazon and emailed a list with links to retrieve your specific copy. Please let her know if you have any issues.
