Baywell Health is part of the Every Woman Counts (EWC) program, which provides free breast and cervical cancer screening and follow-up services to eligible women in California.
Services offered through EWC include:
Clinical breast exams and mammograms for women age 40 and older
Breast cancer testing for women under 40 who have symptoms
Pap tests for women age 21 and older
Pap & HPV co-testing for women age 30 and older
Follow-up tests if needed
Eligibility requirements:
Must live in California
Must meet the age requirements listed above
Must have no or limited health insurance, or insurance with unaffordable copays or deductibles
Must have a low household income
Contraceptive and Reproductive Health Services, including Patient Education and Counseling
Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening
Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Education, Counseling & Testing
Drop-In Pregnancy Testing
Check-ups once a month or more often, the whole time you are pregnant.
Tests to check your health and your baby’s health, such as urine, blood or ultrasound.
Help finding resources for you, like WIC or Behavioral Health Services.
Information on pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and baby care.
Help with how to eat healthy foods.
Help with how to quit smoking, drinking, or using drugs.
Help with talking about your family issues and needs.
