Workshop overview
This workshop will cover the creation of new geospatial data using the open source GIS package QGIS. Students will first learn how to georeference a scanned image into a GIS then digitize features of that scan into new vector feature layers.

Please install the long term release only. Current version as of this writing is QGIS 3.16. We'll go over installation issues during the Zoom set up meeting, but if possible please install ahead of time.
