Arriving & Meeting the Group

Airport transfers are included for all travelers arriving in Lima and transferring to the Belmond Miraflores Park.

We will use the flight information you provided to the Travel/Study office to arrange your transfers, so please be sure to alert us if there have been any significant changes to your flight itinerary since you first sent your flight information to our office. Note that you may be grouped with other travelers arriving on the same flight or at the same time.

After you claim your bags and exit customs, look for our local staff member, who will be holding a “Stanford Travel/Study Peru” sign. If you have difficulty finding your transfer, please contact your local operator representative Kika Caballero at +51 999 709 039. Your Stanford Tour Manager can be reached after 9:00 p.m. on August 24.

At the Hotel

Check-in time at the Belmond Miraflores Park is 3:00 p.m. Luggage can be left with the bell captain if you arrive before your room is ready. Our first group activity will be a welcome briefing and lecture at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, in the Acassia conference room.

As a reminder, if you are arriving early and opted to book any extra nights directly with the hotel rather than through Travel/Study, you may need to change rooms when the main program starts since hotels cannot always link individual hotel reservations with group reservations. We have relayed individual reservation information to the hotel, so hopefully it won’t be an issue, but room assignments are ultimately decided by the hotel.
