Second Chance Bangkok is a local initiative started by residents of Klong Toey. They collect quality second-hand goods, which are either sold at affordable prices to local residents or passed on to those in need. This helps reduce waste while supporting families who may not have access to essential items.
The project also creates employment through their upcycling programme. Local women with sewing skills transform donated clothing into beautiful bags and gifts — supporting the environment and strengthening the community at the same time.

At St Andrews Bangkok, we believe environmental responsibility starts young. From Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, our students are introduced to sustainability through hands-on, project-based learning.
Our Primary School “EcoBeasts” are a passionate group of young changemakers who lead the way in school recycling and sustainability efforts. Guided by our dedicated staff, they champion the 4 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Respect — applying these values in real, meaningful ways around the school.
🌱 ♻️ We’re proud to have our EcoBeasts joining the judging panel at this year’s STEAM Festival, bringing their commitment to the planet and thoughtful insights to the event!
