On this page you will find practical tips for integrating SEL into the classroom. SEL does not have to be an added curriculum, a day of the week or minutes on your agenda. For many, SEL is something that we already do! Whether it’s greeting students at the door, teaching stress management in P.E. or prioritizing relationship building to leverage academic resiliency, there is no “right” or “wrong” way to integrate SEL into the classroom.
In addition, SEL resources organized by both content area and grade span can be found below. All of the "Shared Resources" will direct you to a “shared” folder with some foundational resources. However, we invite each of you to add your own lesson plans or resources by submitting and uploading using the provided form. These lessons will be made available in a collaborative effort to provide “tried and true” SEL resources across Stanislaus County.
