Google Documents can change the game for educators in their ability to create instructional materials or templates for students to demonstrate learning or convey thoughts, ideas or research. The capacity to collaborate on original documents and link to additional information is limitless. Teachers can provide feedback in real-time to assist students in reaching their learning goals.

The Explore tool allows a user to enhance their document with images, web searching, and pulling from your Google Drive, right from within your doc. It also will cite the source that you pull from and create a footnote in your document if you so choose.

Voice typing is an incredible feature within Google Docs that allows you to talk in what you want to type. This can be used in a multitude of ways, but certainly a great option to be aware of when working within Google Docs.
