Google Classroom has changed the way we distribute content to students or staff in the cloud. The days of having students copy items and "share them back" are over. Educators are free to challenge students to be creative and develop 21st century skills in an easy to use platform. Google Classroom has recently received a facelift and if you are an avid Classroom user, you need to be aware of these changes. Not only for your sake, but for your students' sake as well. Let's take a look at some of these changes so we can familiarize ourselves with them from a student perspective. Please login with the following directions below.

  • Open your Google Chrome Browser
  • Navigate to classroom.google.com
  • Sign in with your google credentials (e.g. bschut@stancoe.org)
    • Enter your password
    • Choose "I'm a Teacher" if it asks you
  • Open the New and Improved Google Classroom class
