All About Me

Welcome to our classroom!

I believe strongly in the community that is built in the classroom, and you are essential to that. We are part of the team that will get your child off to an amazing start in school! We are going to have a year full of fun, learning and adventure. It is going to be amazing!

A little bit about me...I have been teaching for many years, and this is my 4th year at Northeast. I have 3 children - Lily (age 19), Malcolm (age 17), and Gracie (age 13). I have a 4 year old dog named Finn who is like one of my kids! I am also engaged! When I’m not teaching, I am spending most of my time with my family - skiing, sailing, cheering them on in softball, hockey, track meets, etc. I am also a fitness and nutrition coach and really enjoy eating clean and working out.

Teaching has been my passion since I started right out of college. I LOVE literacy and instilling a love of reading and learning in my students. I love being able to share that with your child.

COLOR: blue

SEASON: can never decide between winter and summer - I love the snow and skiing, but nothing is like digging my toes in the sand!

FOOD: fish and seafood

CANDY: chocolate - especially with nuts!

SONG: anything by Jimmy Buffett

BOOK: Wonder

SPORT: skiing
