How will Hart School help pollinators survive?
Why We Need Pollinators
By Brittany
You might think that pollinators can just move pollen around to help some flowers get pollen and grow but no, if there were no pollinators there would no fruits, nuts, and vegetables. If there were no pollinators, plants would die, and some plants make fruits and vegetables. If they fail to grow, then there would be less food for us humans to eat. Pollinators also maintain a healthy ecosystem while doing this. Some plants help provide oxygen and if pollinators are gone then, living things who rely on pollination can die. This is why pollinators are so important for us.
Hart School is helping the bees by raising awareness in the community.
Fourth grade created this website to bring awareness to the community.
Fifth grade is helping the mason bees find shelter by building them "hotels."
