Volunteer to Work at a Booth
It's a small time commitment, but a big way help to make the picnic a success! It's also a fun way to get involved and meet your fellow parishioners. Sign up for one of our open time slots below. And if you can't volunteer we hope you support the picnic by joining us for food, fun and games!
Help with Booth Set Up & Tear Down
The picnic is back, WOOHOO!!! But it still requires volunteers to set up and tear down, as we have no magic fairies or wands. Please sign up to help, we’ll have fun doing it as always. It’s a great way to see old friends and meet new ones!
The Gambling Booth has (7) Blackjack tables and (2) Texas Holdem’ tables. We are entirely staffed by volunteers from our parish, so we are always in need of folks who can work as dealers at these tables. We can train you. The only skills you need are basic math and a desire to have fun!
Gambling Booth 6/17/22 - 10:00-12:00 - 3 blackjack dealers and 1 Texas Holdem Dealer
Gambling Booth 6/18/22 - 10:00-12:00 - 3 blackjack dealers and 1 Texas Holdem Dealer
Do you live or work near a high traffic area? Yard signs are available to post in your yard, neighborhood or business. Grab one today at the parish office or in the gathering space of church!
Go to the St. Albert Online Store to donate a cake from Plehn’s or Kroger. Or printed forms can be returned to the parish office and in the weekend Mass collection basket. The last day to order a cake is June 9th. Do you like to bake? We gladly accept and need homemade desserts too! Drop off homemade items on Friday and Saturday after 10a.m. the day of the picnic.
The Stuffed Jar Booth is one of our most popular games! To make it a success we rely on donations for the prizes. This is a fun way to get your family involved in the picnic. Here’s what you can do!
Collect or purchase clear plastic jars- clean, large sized peanut butter or snack jars, Glad or Ziploc food storage jars and inexpensive wide-mouth water bottles.
Fill a jar with treats and prizes- candy, stickers, puzzles, hair ties, sweatbands, art supplies, sports cards, glow sticks, Legos and small toys. Adult prizes too, like tea bags, nail polish, golf tees, retro candy and stationary items.
Grab a jar or leave a jar in the back of church by June 16th. Be creative!
If you are looking for a way to support our parish & help make the summer picnic a continued success, perhaps sponsoring one of the many fun booths is a way you can contribute. Your family or business can make a tax deductible donation, and at the same time support OUR parish. You decide what level of sponsorship works for you…
Your family/business name will be displayed on one of the picnic booths for all to see!
Your family/business name and logo will be prominently displayed on an individual banner along the Hole in One golf course as well as advertised on a banner by the beer booth/stage!
Your family/business can sponsor one of our Special Events (the Band, the Bouncers, Gambling Tent, Golf Cart Transports, etc.) each displaying a customized banner!
The Master of Ceremonies makes continuous announcements throughout the picnic recognizing our booth sponsors of all levels!
