During the week of July 20–24, most of the parking lots on St. Albert the Great's campus will be milled and resurfaced. If you are attending Daily Mass during this time, please park in the designated area in front of the church, highlighted in green on the map, while the contractors are working.

Farewell to Our Seminarian, Peter Bifone

Join us in thanking Peter Bifone for his time with our parish as he prepares to return to the seminary. We are grateful for his service, prayer, and presence in our community this summer. Please join us for refreshments after the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, July 26, in Visitation Hall, as we wish Peter God's blessings and every success in his continued formation for the priesthood.

Welcome Father Frank Ruff! 

Father Frank Ruff of the GLENMARY HOME MISSIONERS will speak at our Masses this weekend, sharing about Glenmary’s missionary efforts, which focus on serving the spiritual and material needs of people right here in the United States! 

Hundreds of counties in the United States do not have a Catholic church or resident priest. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to learn more about Glenmary’s missionary outreach in Appalachia and the rural South. We invite you to share your prayers and financial support for this important ministry. Thank you for your generosity. 

Fr. Frank is originally from Wisconsin and was ordained a Glenmary priest in 1963. He has served in several different roles over the years, including pastor of Glenmary mission parishes in various states, as Glenmary’s President and Director of Vocations. He continues cultivating sponsorships for Unbound, a Catholic nonprofit, and was nationally recognized for his 50 years of committed service to ecumenical ministry, especially in collaboration with the Southern Baptist Convention.

Nursery Care

Please note that nursery care during the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass will be on summer break from July 5 through August 9. We look forward to welcoming our youngest parishioners back beginning August 16.

Yearlong Study of Mary with Fr. Chris

Mary Study III
This study will examine in detail the 20 mysteries of the Rosary, including the Joyful Mysteries, Luminous Mysteries, Sorrowful Mysteries and Glorious Mysteries. It will also consist of an optional class presentation on any Marian topic the student wishes to present at the end of the course. Classes begin in mid-August on Wednesdays at 9:45AM (morning session) or 6:30PM (evening session). Completion of Mary Study I is required to enroll in Mary Study III.

Mary Study I
Missed the first part of the study? We’re planning a new session of Mary Study I, which explores Mary in Sacred Scripture, Church teaching documents, and Marian Consecration using Fr. Michael Gaitley’s 33 Days to Morning Glory. A minimum of three participants is needed. Classes begin in mid-August on Tuesdays at 7:00PM (evening session) or Thursdays at 9:45AM (morning session).

New OCIA Group Forming

Thursday evenings at 7PM beginning August 27th 

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a program for adults who wish to become Catholic or are missing sacraments. We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about the Catholic faith. Sessions focus on the scriptures, teachings and experience of the Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights and your faith story in a warm, accepting setting. You will be accompanied on your spiritual journey by a Catholic sponsor who is there to help answer questions and support you.

Women's Bible Study

The Gospel of Luke takes you on a journey that begins with the foretelling of John the Baptist’s birth and culminates in Jesus’ ascension into heaven. Along the way, you will witness key moments in salvation history, including the Annunciation; the Nativity; Jesus' baptism; his public ministry; the Last Supper; and Jesus’ suffering, death, and glorious Resurrection. The Gospel’s powerful prose and beautiful details will deepen your desire to draw closer to Jesus and be transformed by his teachings.

The Gospel of Luke continually reveals how Jesus is the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. With Luke: The Story of Salvation Fulfilled, you will experience joy as you see how God has been faithful throughout the ages and how God’s promise can guide you in your everyday lives.

St. Albert Book Club

July 30th | 10:00AM | Sacred Heart Center

The next meeting of the St. Albert Book Club book will be on Thursday, July 30th at 10:00a.m. in the Sacred Heart Center. We will be reading Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist: Unlocking the Secrets of the Last Supper by Brant Pitre. The August book will be Treasure in Clay: The Autobiography of Fulton J. Sheen by Fulton J. Sheen. There is no cost to join and no registration is required. Just read the book and show up!

Healthy Habits As We Age

Join us for an informative and encouraging workshop on healthy aging with wellness educator Marilyn Todd. 

This one-hour session will focus on practical habits that support overall health and well-being as we age. Topics will include balance, strength, flexibility, posture, sleep, hydration, and nutritional considerations — all with the goal of helping participants become healthy, balanced individuals in mind, body, and spirit. Snacks will be provided. 

Whether you are already active or simply looking for helpful ways to care for yourself or a loved one, this workshop will offer valuable insights and easy-to-apply tips for everyday life.

Helping Our Neighbor's in Need

Client Story:
Recently, we helped a family with their rent. The father works at Kroger and accepts every overtime opportunity available in addition to his regular hours. His wife was recently laid off but is actively searching for a new job while attending school full time, with plans to graduate later this year. Together they are working hard to provide a stable home for their three daughters, but with only one income and rising expenses, they needed temporary assistance to get through this difficult time.

Thank you for your continued generosity and for helping us bring Christ's love and hope to those in need. Our next St. Vincent de Paul collection will take place the weekend August 29 & 30. 

Red Cross Blood Drive

The Social Concerns Team are sponsoring our quarterly Red Cross blood drive in the Parish Life Complex on Sunday 8/9/26 from 8am until 1pm.  Appointments are recommended but not required.
