Scrip Cards (Raise Right)

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money.” The program is so easy to use and is a great way to help St. Agnes while doing the shopping you do anyway. When you purchase Scrip you are purchasing gift cards. You use the gift cards to purchase everyday items. Purchase gift cards for places where you plan to shop, and use those cards instead of cash or credit. There are 100’s of retailers involved in this program including HyVee, Walmart, Caseys, and many local restaurants.

This program runs at no cost to you, all you do is buy gift cards (at face value) to places you already shop and the school benefits.  You purchase the gift cards and St. Agnes gets a percentage of the value. Even friends and family can participate. As an example, if you purchase a single $100.00 gift card from HyVee, 5% of your purchase price ($5.00) will go directly to St. Agnes. You can go directly to the raiseright.com/shop and click on the sign up tab and you will be directed to join an existing program with a sign up code. Please call the school for the enrollment code

To participate in this program online, register:

• Complete the registration form and security questions. 

Once you have registered with RaiseRight.com, you are ready to order from home -- from any of the merchants available from RaiseRight.

The site will guide you through the process. 

• Physical cards are shipped to your organization or can be mailed directly to you using Ship to Home, when available.

• eGift cards appear instantly in your digital Wallet when paying online.

• Reload allows you to electronically reload funds onto existing physical cards.

• You can also purchase the gift cards after each Mass on the weekend.

If you plan on ordering gift cards for the holiday season please allow time for them to be delivered.  

First of all, thank you to all of the families who continue to support this fundraiser. It is a great way to have continuous fundraising efforts throughout the entire calendar year! Secondly, we wanted to give some updates on our evolving Raise Right (Scrip) Program. There have been some transformations since last fall within the system and now that we have a better understanding of how to make this program work to best support both the school and the parents of St Agnes students, we wanted to share the parameters in which we intend to operate. Again, this program is ever evolving, so there will be more changes and improvements as needed, but this is what we have put together so far.

1. EARNING PERIOD AND CREDIT

The rebate tracking period will run from April 1 - March 31 each year. By ending earnings on March 31, this will give us a chance to finalize the rebates for each family and get that applied to their individual tuition accounts. Rebates earned from April 1st on will then be applied to the next school year. Each family who participates will know their credit prior to the end of the school year, and last tuition payment. If they have student(s) returning the next school year, that credit can be carried over if there is a balance at the end of the school year. If the student/family will be graduating out of St Agnes, the family can choose to move those funds to either the school’s general fundraising account or the school’s tuition assistance account. 

2.  PURCHASING

We encourage everyone to purchase their gift cards online - reloadable ones in particular. This is not only convenient for you, but does save from paying processing, shipping, and handling fees. 

If you choose to order physical cards and then have your gift cards shipped to the school, we ask that you plan ahead and only submit those once per month at the most. When cards are shipped to the school, St Agnes has to pay the $11 shipping and handling fee. 

If you purchase from our current inventory of physical gift cards, we will not be awarding a family rebate at this time. We will instead be selling them at a 10% discount. The exception to this is  the HyVee and Walmart cards. These will be available to earn their regular rebate rate, as those are purchased on a regular basis and are up to date with rebate percentages. 

Some of those current inventory cards have been in our inventory for far too long and it is hard to know what the rebate was at the time of purchase. That is why we are working to deplete the inventory and offer the 10% discount. All of the rebates that we did receive from Raise Right when those cards were purchased have been applied to the fundraising and tuition assistance accounts.  

3.  KEEP EARNING

Don’t forget that you will be earring rebates for yourselves and the school throughout the calendar year!
