About Mrs. Schauer

Mrs. Schauer has spent the last 20 years in children’s education having taught and volunteered at many schools and programs in the Delaware Valley including Cecil College, YMCA of Delaware, Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Tower Hill School, and The Pilot School. After taking some time to raise her children, she is happy to have landed at St. Thomas the Apostle! She is a graduate of Padua Academy and the product of 12 years of Catholic School. Having earned two bachelor degrees from the University of Delaware, she brings the same commitment and drive for success to the families at St. Thomas.

She is also an accomplished stage director and professional stage manager that brings professionalism, dedication, her love for Jesus, and passion for life to all students and her classroom. In her spare time, she enjoys watching football and volunteering for anything! Mrs. Schauer and her husband Patrick reside in North Wilmington DE, and they have two children Logan(12) and Harper(6) who both attend St. Thomas! Go Knights!
