"Trust the Process”
Often individuals focus on evaluating the end product, when the real value is the evaluation of the progress throughout the process. One of my incredible mentors, Nick Roman, often reminds me to “Trust the Process.” As I carry this motto into educational leadership I will utilize the following strategies to evaluate our schools progress as we "Trust the Process":
Consistently ask questions!
Listen!
Will be open and approachable to receive constant feedback for the betterment of our students.
Staff members will constantly be asked to provide their input, thoughts, and ideas.
Establish a culture where people feel seen, valued, and heard.
Establish a School Improvement Team (SIP) that represents a variety of perspectives
Collaborate, create, and communicate as Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
Our Administration Team will be committed to following the High-Performance Instructional Leadership Model, written by Justin Baeder in Now We’re Talking!
Focus on student growth versus student achievement
