Enrichment Opportunities

Please use the links below to learn about enrichment opportunities available to your child. Some of the programs require tuition while others are offered free of charge. While some of these activities are intended specifically for gifted and high achieving students, others are listed because they are relevant to interests the students have shared with me.

This list is intended to inform families about possible options for enrichment and is not an endorsement of the programs linked below.

William and Mary Center for Gifted Education Summer Enrichment Programs: Courses for gifted students in grades 2-12 are now open for registration. These courses will be conducted virtually, and there is a tuition charge of $100 per course.

BLAST: This FREE opportunity is for eighth and ninth graders interested in STEM. Students must have at least a C+ overall GPA to apply. The application for the 2020-2021 school year will open in November.

Saturday and Summer Gifted Enrichment Program at University of Virginia: This opportunity is for gifted and high-achieving students in grades 4-10. There is a tuition charge for this program, but families can apply for financial aid.
