Cultivating Conscious Leadership for Futures-Focused International School Leaders
In the ever-changing landscape of international education, unconscious leadership is no longer sustainable.
While it may achieve short-term success, the long-term costs—strained relationships, disengaged teams, and stagnant innovation—can compromise a school’s ability to thrive in an uncertain future.
We're excited to partner with Making Stuff Better to bring International School Leaders a unique workshop opportunity. Their work on Futures-Focused Leadership beautifully aligns with our Education for a Shared Humanity theme and complements the other summit Arcs.
This 4-hour workshop on Sunday 9th February equips international school leaders with the tools to transition from reactive, fear-based leadership to a proactive, trust-based approach that aligns with a futures-focused vision for education.
Through dynamic discussions, practical strategies, and reflective exercises, participants will learn how conscious leadership can enhance their capacity to navigate complexity, foster innovation, and inspire their school communities to embrace change with confidence.
In order to support colleagues to attend the Future Learning Summit, for every School Leader attending this workshop, we are offering a second educator colleague entry to the summit at half price.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
Understand the principles of conscious leadership and their relevance in an international school setting.
Identify how fear-based leadership hinders future-readiness and innovation.
Learn actionable strategies to shift toward trust-based, collaborative leadership.
Explore the commitments of conscious leadership and their impact on creating futures-focused school cultures.
Develop a personal action plan to integrate conscious leadership practices and prepare their schools for the opportunities and challenges of the future.
Key Topics Covered:
