Pathways to a Thriving Planet
Students from within Bahrain will also have the opportunity to showcase initiatives from their schools through our IDEAS Hub (Innovate - Design - Engage - Act - Share).
St Chris student, Aritro Ghosh, will be sharing the certification process for QBronze by QBahrain (an offshoot of QWorld). This innovation teaches people elementary quantum computing concepts over the cloud, helping them to understand how quantum concepts such as superposition and randomness can also apply to people’s personalities.
St Chris student, Layla Khonji, will be introducing scratch.mit.edu as a completely free tool for students to learn programming concepts in a simple and collaborative way, where everyone shares their programming projects to the world!
At IKNS, the campaign "The Forgotten Fortune" aims to raise awareness about e-waste not only within our school community but also across Bahrain. We strive to educate and inspire people to adopt conscious consumption habits by reducing, reusing, and recycling their e-waste. Through this initiative, we hope to make a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainable practices.
