The topic of mental health has always carried a stigma or negative reputation. People have not been allowed to comfortably discuss their struggles with it publicly without being viewed as if there were something wrong with them. Today, however, more people are challenging this stigma and normalizing the mental and emotional battles that characterize most people's lives at some point. Perhaps we can thank the pandemic for this, because we have collectively faced the challenge of living in our homes for 24 hours a day over the past several months and balanced that against work, school and family obligations. It's been enough to make anyone feel like they are not quite themselves. More and more, people are starting to realize that it is normal to wrestle with mental health issues and those people look like you and me. They are famous and not famous, rich and poor, young and old. I hope you will find something useful in this collection of resources have assembled. If you need help with any mental health issues you are struggling with, there is help.

Our Voices Matter Podcast

For the first time in over a decade, San Lorenzo Adult School will be open for summer school from June 21 – July 23, 2021. Students may enroll in the High School Diploma class for credit completion and ESL classes which will be offered at all levels. All classes will be held online.
