View Youtube videos from Erin Andrews, former Stanford Admissions Officer, who considers a couple of case studies from an admissions officer's point of view. Please note that Stanford has around a 3% admissions rate (among stellar students who would be confident enough to apply). Watching these videos and following tips does not offer a real advantage; however, understanding these cases, even if they are a bit outdated, may be useful to your college planning in general. My advice is to challenge yourself, plan for best individual growth and learning, and be authentic. However, there is quite a bit of strategy involved in successfully applying to top-tier schools.
