The Advanced Placement Program (AP) consists of a variety of college-level courses developed by the College Board. These courses allow students to engage in college-level coursework while still in high school. Each course culminates in a standardized assessment, or AP exam, which is administered on College Board designated days in May.
Students enrolled at a campus in Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) are eligible to participate in AP testing at LISD campuses. TCHS students should contact TC testing coordinator, Mr. Turner, at TurnerRL@lisd.net for more information on how to register for an AP exam.
The College Board allows campuses to establish internal deadlines, exam pricing and late testing policies. Students/families should be familiar with these policies before registering for AP exams. Students and families have agreed to the policies when registering and paying for the exams.
TCHS students should periodically check their LISD school email for registration, payment, and testing information.

LISD is unable to register non-LISD students after the fall registration deadline. Please be aware of the registration dates listed on the campus and district AP website.

There are late registration deadlines, too.
To access SAT scores, you must go to your College Board account.
SAT Weekend Testing and technology:
As previously communicated, the Bluebook app used to access the SAT exam will not work on LISD-issued devices at SAT testing centers outside of our district due to security settings set by other districts. This is because the security settings of LISD-issued devices may not be compatible with another district’s Wi-Fi. Though the College Board website states that students can download the Bluebook app ahead of time, the app will not work on LISD devices outside of our district due to these security settings. Because of this, we want to encourage all students to bring their personal device or request a device from the College Board when taking the SAT outside of LISD.
Requesting a Device from College Board
If your student does not have access to a personal device, the College Board may be able to lend them a device for use on test day. Students should first register for their desired test day and location, and then the option to select “Request a Device” will appear as part of their registration information on My SAT. It is recommended to request a device at least 30 days before test day to allow for shipping. For more information on requesting a device from the College Board, click HERE.
If your student is taking the SAT at one of the testing centers within LISD, they may use their school-issued device.
To register for the ACT, go to https://my.act.org/account/signin?location=https://my.act.org
