This course is a multidisciplinary skills class that incorporates all aspects of the engineering fields.
This is a project-based program for all students to develop several projects throughout the year and getting familiar with various tools, equipment, software programs, supplies and materials.
Practicum is for all students without prior robotics or engineering course experience.
This Class is Designed for all skill levels
This student has had no Prior Experience with Robotics.
This student has at least already taken Engineering Robotics I.
This student has already taken Engineering Robotics I & II.
As a practicum the beginner student will acquire knowledge by working side by side with the more advanced students.
In addition, students will have unique project assignments, managing work logs, weekly project updates and ipracticing the Robotic Design Process.
Project may include a variety of electronic devices such as but not limited to:
Assist the school's robotics team in building their robot for the First Tech Challenge. This robot will participate in the X League in North Texas.
Develop a tool that has utility by using multiple input and output devices and structural materials. Resources: sensors, motors, LED displays, lights, buzzers, various tools and equipment.
