Hi there! My name is Kaitlyn Johnson. This will be my sixth year teaching fourth-grade science at McAuliffe. I have a passion for working with kiddos and making learning engaging. In my spare time, I love cheering on the Aggies (Whoop!), running on trails, and spending time with family. I look forward to working alongside students and parents to make this school year spectacular!

Howdy! I'm Emily Evans. I am the fourth-grade writing and spelling teacher. I have been a parent or on staff/faculty here at McAuliffe for 16 years, and this is my fifth year teaching ELA in fourth grade. My husband Eddy and I are both Aggies (Whoop!) and live in Highland Village. We have three daughters-Mary is in College Station pursuing a dental hygiene degree, Abby is a freshman at the University of Arkansas, and Sammy is a junior at Marcus High School. I love to read, garden, craft, write, play games with my family, and wrangle our many pets. I am so excited about this year because writing is one of my true passions! I hope to help my students discover what amazing writers they are, and build a deeper love of writing in them as well!

Hey y’all! I’m Allyson Tertzakian and this will be my first year teaching here at McAuliffe. I recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Elementary Education K-6. I have lived in this area for most of my life and graduated from Marcus High School in 2018. I enjoy going to the beach and traveling back to Chicago, where I grew up. I am so excited to begin this school year teaching Texas History with all my new students!

Howdy, y'all! My name Is Trevor Mouton, and this will be my 8th year teaching 4th grade math. I have loved my time as a McAuliffe Highlander, and I'm so excited for this school year. I grew up in the Flower Mound area, and graduated from the University of North Texas w/a degree In Interdisciplinary Studies 4-8 Math. I recently just graduated with my masters in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University. Whoop! I have a passion for making math memorable and fun, and I can't wait to get started!

Hello! My name is Ashlee Hood and I am from Lubbock, Texas. I graduated from Texas Tech and moved to Lewisville to begin teaching. My parents and my younger sister live in Lubbock. I go home to visit quite often!! I have a crazy cat named, Rhett. I taught first grade for 12 years. This year I am teaching 4th grade Social Studies. I am so excited to begin another year here at McAuliffe!!
