Meet Mrs. James

My name is Christina James and I am the art teacher at Hicks Elementary.

This is my 12th year teaching at Hicks and it is truly my dream job! I love coming to work every day and make art with all of our creative students!

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on Art Education.

I have been married to my husband for 6 years and have two step-sons. When I am not at the school I like to hang out with my friends, snuggle with my furbabies and create my own artwork but painting and sculpture are my favorites!
