Late Busses: A late bus runs for students attending after-school tutorials. Students will be required to receive a bus pass from their teacher in order to be able to ride the bus, which will leave campus at 4:30 pm. The late buses are not for students staying late for detention or participating in extra-curricular activities. Students will only be allowed to ride the bus if they have attended academic tutoring and have a pass from a teacher. Late buses will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
HHS9 Tutoring Schedule: Teachers hold tutorials throughout the week for any student desiring extra assistance. To view the teacher tutorial schedule, please see the attachment below.
NHS Tutors: Members of the National Honor Society at HHS offer tutoring services for community service. This tutoring takes place on campus. Please see your counselor if you are interested in working with an NHS tutor.
LISD Tutoring Bureau: Campus Support Services (CSS) acts as a referral service for the LISD Tutoring Bureau. Information is collected on certified teachers who would like to tutor students outside of school hours. You may request a list of tutors broken down according to grade level / subject area. Addresses and/or phone numbers are provided. Parents contact the desired tutor directly. Rates and tutoring location (your house/tutor's house) is up to you and the tutor. The Tutoring List is updated on an on-going basis.
