Hawk Time is a specific time period called during 2nd period in which all 9th Graders report to the HHS9 Campus for important information about various topics pertaining to the LISD PAWS (Prevention and Wellness Systemic) program.
The PAWS program is the LISD implementation of HB1942, HB1386, SB407, and FNCF Legal.
Topics covered through our PAWS program include:

The State of Texas Assessement of Academic Readiness (STAAR) requires students in high school to take End of Course (EOC) exams for certain core subjects to show mastery of the objectives for that course. Currently there are five tests which student must pass:
Algebra 1
English 1 (Reading/Writing)
Biology
English 2 (Reading/Writing)
US History
