Please read through the Briarhill Band Handbook. This Handbook will outline the general policies and expectations of the Briarhill Band Program.

Band Calendar
Band Calendar
Please add all the Briarhill Band Events to your family calendar. All events listed on the band calendar are required and graded parts of the Briarhill Band curriculum.

Band Fees
Band Fees
ALL band students will owe a Band Fee. This Band Fee covers the cost of the student's Band Binder, Band Shirt and contest fees for the year. Band Fees are different for each band because of the different costs associated with each bands activities.
SOME band students will owe a SCHOOL-OWNED INSTRUMENT fee. This fee covers the usage and maintenance of instruments owned by LISD. School owned instruments include:
Oboe
Bassoon
Bass Clarinet
Tenor and Bari Sax
French Horn
Euphonium
Tuba
7th and 8th grade Percussion
8th Grade Uniform Fee
8th graders do NOT need to pay the uniform fee again UNLESS they need a completely new uniform. If a portion of the uniform no longer fits, email a director and we can tell you the replacement cost of that item.
All fees can be paid one of the following ways:

Instead of sending home 387 forms for you to sign and return, we are asking that you complete the action items above and fill out the following Acknowledgement Form.
This form will count as your Acknowledgement and acceptance of the Action Items above. By filling out this form, you acknowledge:
You have read the Briarhill Band Handbook and understand the expectations outlined in it.
You have read the Extracurricular Code of Conduct and understand the expectations outlined in it.
You have read the Fine Arts Media Acknowledgement and understand the expectations outlined in it.
You have filled out the Briarhill Band Information Form with updated and accurate information.
You have looked at the Briarhill Band Calendar and added ALL dates to your family calendar. You understand that all events are required and graded.
You know what Band Fees are owed AND when they are owed. If you need assistance or need more time to pay, please communicate with us. We will help in every way that we can.
