Today I officially handed in my Masters Dissertation!
I am honestly very proud of the work I put into this project, and very excited to hear the feedback of my Tutors at Hartpury. I hope to publish it, after review, so keep an eye out - as I will make sure there is a copy available on my website for you all to read, if you're interestes!
I'm super excited to be well underway with my dissertation now, and can't wait to share any results I find with you here!
If you'd like to know more about what I'm doing, check out my "About Us" page.
Mr Nibs, my favourite regular, and his stable mate Blue enjoyed their massages in the sun!
This was Blue's first massage with me, and I think its safe to say he enjoyed it!
The lovely Moses from Arden RDA Group enjoying his massage with a lick and chew release, followed by a big yawn!
A great example of a before and after from today's session - shoulder tension is very common and can be easily improved, this is from just one session!
Shoulder tension can cause short strides, and affect other muscles such as over the back and neck if not released.
The lovely Mr Nibs enjoying his massage under the solarium! As a regular customer, his owner has seen an improvement in his ridden work since the first massage, and knows he loves the massage sessions - just look as how relaxed he is!
I'm proud to say I am officially first aid trained!
I completed the course hosted by the BHS and SkillBase First Aid, which was a very informative and practical course that left me feeling condifent in my abilities.
A very exciting delivery today! My new Equiball has arrived - a great tool for heat or cryotherapy. I'm hoping to be able to use it this coming week, so watch this space for more updates, and follow my social media accounts to see more live updates as they come!
Today I have officially joined IAAT, the International Association of Animal Therapists, as a Registered Equine Massage Therapist. I'm looking forward to the CPD and research they have available to further my knowledge and add new skills to my toolkit.
