Development history
In order to develope the baseball culture in Taichung City, Mr. Zhang Liao Guizhuan, the former Speaker of Taichung City, and Mr. Ma Zhijian, the former principal, establishing the Chung Shan Junior High School Youth Baseball Team in October 1988.We have cultivated many outstanding baseball players, such as Olympic national players Lin Wei-zu , Kao Chih-gang and Asian Cup national player Lin Kun-sheng, etc., who have brought glory to the country and deserve applause. In 2005, a physical education class was established to train baseball players. The sports team plannes, manages the class and formulates a comprehensive business plan and student ability indicators. Currently, there are about 62 players and they practice normally at the Wanshou Baseball Field every afternoon. They stay at Wanshou Stadium until night, and train strictly to continue to cultivate more outstanding baseball players.
