Hello! My name is Katie Miller. I graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. I have worked in this field since 2009. I started out as a PreK teacher at the Carousel Play & Learn Center in Greensburg for six years, I have experience as an ABA Therapist, and worked with families and children through Head Start for six years before coming to St. Louis. I was born and raised Catholic. I attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greensburg from kindergarten to sixth grade. I have lived in Batesville since 2015 with my husband, Curtis. We have two children, a daughter born in 2020 and a son born in 2022. The 2022-2023 school year was my first year at St. Louis Catholic School as director and lead teacher. I am thrilled to bring my knowledge and experience to St. Louis Preschool and have the opportunity to share my Catholic faith with our Little Cardinals.

Hello! My name is Heather Hamilton, and I’m so excited to be part of the St. Louis School community. I’m a proud wife and mom of three—Madison is a junior at Oldenburg Academy, Eloise is in 7th grade here at St. Louis, and Luka is in 1st grade. I grew up in Greensburg and recently returned after spending eight wonderful years in Georgia. It’s great to be back home! I earned my Master’s degree in Special Education from Ball State University and have a deep passion for helping all students learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and making magical memories at Disney. I’m looking forward to a great school year filled with learning, laughter, and growth!

My name is Shannon Young. I was born and raised here in Batesville. I am an SLS and OA alumni. I truly believe that my Catholic education and faith has been a blessing and wanted the same opportunities for my children. I’ve been married to my husband, Brent since 2007. We have 3 children together—Belle (junior at OA), Hunter (freshman at OA) and Broxton (3rd grade SLS). I graduated with my doctorate in pharmacy from Butler University. After the pandemic and the opioid crisis, the pharmacy world drastically changed and I decided it was time to pursue another passion. I am so excited to be working with your children and love to watch them grow into little people!
