NO NUTS PLEASE
Reminders - please ensure all children bring 'nut free' foods for breaks and lunch and omit foods bearing the label 'may contain nuts.' We have some children in school who have severe nut allergies.
BIRTHDAYS
We know that some children would like to bring sweets or cakes in to share on their birthday. Unfortunately, our 'nut free' policy does not allow for this. However, if children would like to mark the occasion, a great alternative would be to donate to the class Book Corner. We can label the book with a special St Stephen's sticker, bearing the donor's name. This is, of course, entirely optional.
As always, thank you so much for helping us keep our children safe.
INTRODUCING OUR CLASS CHAMPIONS
When you visit one of our classrooms you will be met by one of our fabulous 'Class Champions.' Every class has two nominated Class Champions who are responsible for welcoming any visitors to their classroom. Their job will be to stand up and greet guests at the door. After introducing themselves, and their class, they will explain their current learning. Our children love sharing their learning with you. So, if you do visit us, you are in for a treat.

IT'S ALL ABOUT ME IN RECEPTION
This term our Reception scholars are studying the lovely book 'Owl Babies' and learning about their place in the world and all about themselves. Their teachers love learning about them too. For more fabulous pictures of what they have been up to, turn to page two.
YEAR THREE JUMP TO IT IN PE
It was all about safe landings in PE this week for Year Three. After watching demonstrations by our Sports Coach, Mr Cain, the young gymnasts took to the apparatus to perfect their jumping technique. It has to be said, they glided through the air with the greatest of ease, landing with the lightest of touches. Next step, the Olympics.
