A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting the Scholastic Book Fair last week. Together, we achieved an incredible £909.89 in total sales, earning £454.95 in free books for our school! Your support helps us to keep our library shelves stocked with exciting new reads and to nurture a lifelong love of reading across the school.
The NHS school nursing team will be visiting us on Thursday 6th November to administer the nasal flu vaccination to all children whom consent has been given. To provide consent for your child, please follow this link. Please note that the link will close at midnight on 3rd November.
Consent should be given in advance via the link or QR code (see poster below) only, the nursing team do not accept verbal or emailed consent on the day. If you have any queries about the vaccination and would like to discuss them , please contact the nursing team on the phone number on the QR poster.
We are pleased to confirm that all STARS Club block bookings for the Autumn 2 sessions have been successfully loaded onto ParentPay, and confirmation emails were sent to all pre-booked families on Monday 20th October.
Check Your Bookings: Please carefully review the sessions booked for each child against the details you submitted via the Google Form. This is especially important for families with sibling bookings.
Report Discrepancies: If you find any anomalies compared to your requested booking pattern, please immediately email finance at the address below. Failure to highlight errors at this stage will mean the slot is held and you remain liable for the cost, as it prevents us from re-selling the session.
Make Payment: Please ensure payment for the Autumn 2 sessions is made in ParentPay by Sunday, November 2nd.
Voucher/Tax-Free Childcare Payments: If you are paying using childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare, you must include your child's name and the specific club as a reference on the transfer. Please also email the finance mailbox with the transfer details so we can mark your payment as complete.
Settle Outstanding Balances: Please ensure any outstanding amounts for other payment items are settled promptly.
We currently have a limited number of additional spaces available for ad hoc (one-off) bookings on the following days:
• Mondays
• Fridays
Booking for these ad hoc spaces have been released today, Friday, October 24th. We do apologise for the inconvenience that occurred today with the Parent Pay Payments going offline.
If you require an ad hoc session during the term, please follow these steps:
1. Check ParentPay: Log in to your ParentPay account. A space visible as bookable in the system indicates it is available
2. Email Request: Should a space not be visible and you would like to request a last-minute booking, please email STARS@st-stephens.richmond.sch.uk
As spaces are limited, we encourage you to book promptly. If you have any questions, please contact the STARS team directly.
Bookings for Spring 1 will be loaded into ParentPay early December and we wanted to notify you ahead of the Christmas period that the payments for Spring 1 bookings will be due by Sunday 4th January 2026.
The council’s School Street operating hours are Monday-Friday 8.15-9.45am and 2.30-4pm (term time only) - during these times, the only vehicles permitted to drive into this section of Winchester Road belong to residents. Any car without an ‘S ZONE RESIDENTS PERMIT’ displayed on their windscreen that is inside the marked area during the operational times is at risk of receiving a PCN.
The council have recently painted the entrance to the school street red to highlight that you are about to enter the school street and should turn around if this during the operational period.
The school street enforcement makes the road safer for our children by reducing the number of parked vehicles around the school entrances and eliminating traffic and speeding vehicles. Another benefit is that cars cannot park outside the school with their engines running.
Additionally, parents must not park in the garage area belong to the residents of Grove House (residential building opposite school gates on Winchester Road).
You read more about school streets and their enforcement here. Specific information about the St Stephen's School Street can be found here.
