Our Year 5/6 children had a fantastic opportunity to take part in a Tag Rugby friendly on Thursday against St Richard Reynolds.
It was an epic encounter from start to finish, with plenty of tries, brilliant tags, determined defending and some fantastic, mazey runs from both teams. The children showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout, supporting one another and enjoying every moment of the game.
It was wonderful to see so many children getting the chance to represent the school, with everyone contributing in their own way. There were some excellent individual performances, but most importantly, the children worked together, encouraged each other and played with a fantastic attitude.
A huge well done to all the children who took part. Your effort, enthusiasm and teamwork were brilliant to see!
A big thank you to St Richard Reynolds for a great game and for providing such a competitive and enjoyable afternoon of rugby.
We look forward to seeing more of our Year 5/6 children getting involved in future fixtures and continuing to develop their skills and confidence. Well done everyone!
