YEAR FIVE REACH FOR THE STARS

A homework project to make a solar system was a fantastic way to extend Year Five's classroom-based learning on this ever popular topic. We've been so impressed with the results. Some were created with paper mache, stitched together with fabric or constructed in clay. It was a wonderful way for our children to embed their learning on the planets and their relative sizes. They are now displayed in all their splendour the Year Five classrooms and the upstairs corridor. All so amazing and it looks like our children had lots of fun making them.

BEAR NECESSITIES

PLAYDATES GALORE FOR BILLY AND BOBBY BEAR!

Bear with us, we're exhausted! We have been trying for ages to catch up with those two bears about town, Billy and Bobby Bear. It's been unbearable! They are so hard to track down as they are always out on sleepovers with our wonderful Reception children. Each night a wipe down, COVID friendly version of those most sought after of bears, goes home with a member of Dove or Cuckoo class. They are made beary welcome and treated to a wide range of activities and treats. Just take a look. Sometimes we have to keep them in school for a rest - that is when we hit the 'paws' button.
