Our brand new parent engagement app is now live, thank you for taking the time to set up your new account and if you had any difficulty accessing the app or linking siblings to your account, we hope we have been able to resolve this for you already.
If you haven't already, please do take some time to familiarise yourself with the app ahead of our parent consultation bookings opening at the end of next week. If you cannot log in, the DOB of your child is rejected at app set up or if you can only see one of your children's profiles, please do email info@st-stephens.richmond.sch.uk for help.

Get ready to spark some big ideas! We are thrilled to announce that Monday 9th March to Friday 13th March is STEM Week at our school.
For those who might be wondering, STEM stands for:
Science
Technology
Engineering
Mathematics
STEM is all about solving problems, testing ideas, and understanding how the world works. This year, our theme is "Curiosity: What’s your question?"
We know that many of our parents and carers work in fascinating industries related to STEM. Whether you are a coder, a doctor, an architect, a research scientist, a mechanic, or a data analyst, we need you!
Nothing inspires children quite like hearing from real-world experts. If you work in a STEM-related field and would be willing to come in and give a short, age-appropriate talk about what you do, please get in touch. Showing our students where their learning can take them is the best way to inspire the next generation of innovators.
If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Sonia Chahil, our Science lead, via the Year 3 inbox.
We are absolutely delighted to welcome a very familiar face back to our teaching team this week!
After being away for the last year on maternity leave, Mrs Cotton officially rejoins us. We hope she enjoyed her special time away with her family, but we are so glad to have her back.
Mrs Cotton will be heading into Year 4 to teach in Rashford Class, where she will be working together with Mr Woodcock. We know that their combined experience and enthusiasm will make them a fantastic team, and we are sure the children in Rashford are excited to have two such brilliant teachers guiding them.
There has been an increase in measles in London recently and we have a small number of confirmed cases in young children in Kingston. This is of concern given the rising number of cases across London. The London outbreak has led to some children having to be hospitalised.
Measles spreads very easily between people who are not vaccinated. Measles can be prevented by vaccination. All parents and carers want what is best for their child – if your child has missed any of their doses or you’re unsure, get in touch with your GP surgery. It’s never too late to catch up.
